Third Annual Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency “Pull for Parker Street”

Overview

It’s going to be a fun event for participants and spectators alike with the main objective to raise much needed funds and awareness for Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank.

Teams of 7 (at least 1 female member) will compete to see who can pull a fire truck the fastest and/or the farthest on a designated 120 foot course. In case there is more than one team pulling the full 120 feet, each team will be timed. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 2 “Pulls”.

Team members are asked to contact family, friends, co-workers and business associates asking them to financially support their fund raising efforts for the “Pull for Parker Street”.

To make this a fun family day, we are planning to have a number of displays as well as helium balloons for the kids, Bar-B-Que, Face Painting and more.

Of course, as the location is at The Shops of Dartmouth Crossing, there will be plenty of time to do some shopping as well! Please take part, form a team and have a fun day while supporting a great organization – Parker Street!
