We rely heavily on our core of volunteers. In fact our founder and
Executive Director, Mel Boutilier, has been managing the organization
voluntarily for over 20 years.
Walk into the Food Bank area
and you will see volunteers stocking the shelves or bagging food, while
another group of volunteers delivers much needed food directly to those
in need.
In the Furniture Bank you'll find another group of
devoted volunteers either unloading furniture that has been donated or
using their skills to return furniture to peak condition before being
delivered it to a family in need.
The Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank is always
looking for volunteers to assist with our many operations.
Volunteers provide support in the following areas:
