VolunteersVolunteers are the essential key to success at Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank. Their tireless dedication makes it possible to serve over 600 families per month.We rely heavily on our core of volunteers. In fact our founder and Executive Director, Mel Boutilier, has been managing the organization voluntarily for over 20 years.
In the Furniture Bank you'll find another group of devoted volunteers either unloading furniture that has been donated or using their skills to return furniture to peak condition before being delivered it to a family in need. The Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank is always looking for volunteers to assist with our many operations. Volunteers provide support in the following areas:
